Netherlands consulate-general pre visit to Taizhou agro park

On the 16th of July, Mr. Wijngaarden and Consul general and Mr Nick Hong, Agrifood advisory visited Taizhou in preparation of the Taizhou Agropark groundbreaking ceremonie scheduled on the 5th and 6th of September 2019.

The delegation was received by HX Agriculture and the Major of Taizhou government alongside other high placed officials. Both parties discussed the project and cooperation during the meeting and potential business relations between Dutch companies and Taizhou companies. Taizhou has a long standing industry in naval shipbuilding, health and agriculture and therefore many opportunities for Dutch companies in a city of 3,5 million inhabitants.

HX agriculture was honoured to receive Mr. Wijngaarden and Mr. Hong to our project in Taizhou. We look forward in receiving our fellow Dutch companies in Taizhou on the 5th and 6th of September 2019 when we will officially start the project by the ground breaking ceremonie.

Taizhou Agropark consists of approximately 31 hectare of greenhouse and we will start with the construction of the first 2,7 hectare lettuce production facility on DFT systems as of februari 2020.
