Sino-Dutch (Taizhou) Modern Agricultural Industrial Park Project settled in Hailing

On September 6, the Sino-Dutch (Taizhou) Sustainable Facilities Horticultural Technology Exchange Conference was held in the city, and the foundation stone laying ceremony was held in the Sino-Dutch (Taizhou) Modern Agricultural Industrial Park.

Sino-Dutch (Taizhou) Modern Agricultural Industrial Park is located in the modern agricultural industrial park of Hailing District. It is the first landing project for China-Dutch cooperation to build a 1000-hectare intelligent greenhouse in China. The Dutch fresh food technology industry (Netherlands) Union Representative) Taizhou HX Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., which is independently registered in Hailing District, is responsible for investment, construction and operation. The total investment of the first phase pilot area is about 2.5 billion yuan. The planned land area is about 2300 mu. It is expected to be completed in 2022. The second and third phases will also invest more than 10 billion yuan to transplant the complete industrial chain of precision agriculture in the Netherlands and build the largest industrial chain in Asia. Under the background of the national “Belt and Road Initiative”, rural revitalization strategy and agricultural modernization development, in December 2018, the Hailing District Government signed a contract with the Dutch Fresh Food Industry Alliance to build a Sino-Dutch (Taizhou) Modern Agricultural Industrial Park Complex. The project is a major project for the Hailing District Committee and the district government to build a modern industrial system and create a characteristic agricultural introduction. It is also an important platform for building a modern agro-ecological corridor in the north of the city and leading the rural revitalization.


During the exchange, 22 companies in the Netherlands actively participated in and exhibited, covering greenhouse construction, seed seedlings, LED lighting, automation equipment, training and education, covering the entire supply chain of facilities and gardening.

In recent years, Taizhou has taken the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy as the general focus and the agricultural supply side structural reform as the main line, actively transforming the agricultural development mode, accelerating the construction of modern agricultural industrial system, production system and management system, and promoting the high-quality development of agricultural and rural areas. It is in the forefront of the province. In 2018, it achieved a total agricultural output value of 48.436 billion yuan, and newly added various types of facilities, with an agricultural area of ​​nearly 100,000 mu. AWL integrated water and fertilizer sensor technology is leading the world. Taizhou is also a national experimental demonstration zone for sustainable agricultural development. This honor is only 7 national prefecture-level cities.

The Netherlands is a country with developed economy and culture. Agriculture is very advantageous. Although it has a land area of ​​only over 40,000 square kilometers, it is the world's second largest exporter of agricultural products.

Under the background of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative in China, under the joint promotion of the leaders of China and the Netherlands, the “China-Holland (Taizhou) Modern Agricultural Industrial Park” project was launched, which combined the Dutch agricultural advantages with the characteristics of Taizhou.


At the exchange meeting, Ou Yalin, deputy consul general of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai, said that she was honored to come to this beautiful city of Taizhou to participate in the Sino-Dutch (Taizhou) Sustainable Facilities Horticultural Technology Exchange. Representatives from 22 companies in the Netherlands and experts from relevant Chinese circles gathered together. Everyone exchanged professional knowledge and learned about the situation in the Netherlands and China, especially in Taizhou City, and will surely bear fruitful cooperation.

Chen Mingguan, deputy mayor, said that Taizhou and the Netherlands have a good foundation for cooperation in economic and trade exchanges, friendly exchanges, agricultural science and technology, industrial cooperation, and youth exchanges. I hope that this event will be an opportunity for Taizhou and the Netherlands to jointly build modern agricultural R&D. Taizhou will provide first-class government services and a good social environment by reaching more consensus and achieving more results in the platform, introducing advanced technologies, strengthening project cooperation and personnel training.

At the exchange meeting, a number of modern agricultural companies from the city, Changzhou, Zhenjiang and other places have docked with 22 companies in the Netherlands. The exchange also introduced the situation and outlook of the facilities and horticulture industry in Taizhou, and the modern facilities and gardening technology in the Netherlands.
